Does anyone here use ReadyBoost?

I recently bought a Sandisk Extreme 8GB 30MBps class 10 SDHC card. I keep it in the SD slot in my Lenovo Thinkpad x200s (which runs Windows 7 Professional 64 on 4GB of RAM), and I have enabled Readyboost on the device.

I don't know if it helps.

Here is an old Vista review of ReadyBoost.

i use it with the 8GB transcend.

run: perfmon.msc
select: monitoring tools > performance monitor
remove: whatever it's currently monitoring
add: readyboost cache

I always wondered if this memory was fast enough for cache. Also wanted to know on specs sd class and this was the second link i read http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-10246593-1.html . I know my new sd card is class 4 but i will have to see what other read/write specs i can find.

wow.. so "class 10" just means 10MBps. that's lame.

i got the sandisk extreme 30MBps sdhc card because i've read benchmarks that show that it's the fastest card for use with the nikon d90 dslr.
