quick question that's school-related for me, some of you may be able to help...
if you were an independent developer and had a half-completed piece of software and:
a) didn't want to heavily dilute your ownership stake with a restrictive venture capital investment;
b) didn't want to sell your existing code,
does microsoft have a partnership program where they seed you with money or developer resources in exchange for a stake / ownership of your project?
if that isn't clear, i can rephrase.
there's something called "microsoft partners" that looks like some sort of referral thing, but i'm not exactly sure if that's relevant.
it looks like there is something called ISV (independent software vendor) that gives resources to developers, but no money. that makes sense.
