the law is no protection
why does this get on my nerves so much.

this is like the coolest section of this book I am reading that is about this experiment where the possibility of a photon traveling a certain path affects the outcome of the experiment without the photon actually ever traveling that path. it's a pretty brief synopsis that assumes a certain level of knowledge, but is regardless really awesome, especially in the context of the book.

I found the original study (pdf) it is about and also a scientific american article (also a pdf) and figured the sci am article might be cool to read and explain it maybe even better than the book I'm reading. but it's just like all this other popular science bs I have read where like alice and bob are floating in space with clocks around their necks and literally talks about a pebble that will explode if any light hits it.

JUST TELL ME THE SCIENCE otherwise I am just going to think you're a terrible writer incapable of conveying complex stuff without using the dumbest analogies ever. or you just think everyone is dumber than they are. or maybe everyone is dumb. I don't know. I feel like assuming such a low level of intelligence in your readership is kind of a self-fulfilling prophecy. if people get used to reading stuff that is this dumbed down then they're never going to want to be expected to read anything more than once, look up words or terms, check references, etc.

and for the sake of clarity, I'm not talking about popular science magazine in the least here.

Scientific American has always seemed more scientific heavy to me.
