I read this article in the NYTimes today and though it was amazing.

Supposedly this is the best space saver seen so far, but I personally like the table set for two complete with a wine bottle even better.

Asemi, is this stuff for real? Do you have any experience with it?

I noticed this gem in the comments on the second link:

I can see a pair of chairs saving a spot from my window. do no other cities have experience with heavy snowfall? nyc got fucked by this storm.

I don't have a car so I've never done it, but I would.

fuck yeah we have heavy snowfall. but i've rarely seen space-savers.

It's not as bad as '96 for nyc. But yeah we got hit pretty hard. The real problem is NJ got hit pretty hard too so we can't borrow plows.

But yeah 30 inches by me. Pretty crazy. Glad I didn't try to fly out this week.

If the plows are getting stuck you are in trouble.
