i read reviews on the old thinkpad.com. i read lr's comments and thought they were very insightful. i signed up for ttf via a link in his signature. that was in the summer before i went to university. i've since graduated and have a full-time job in the industry i wanted to work in way back then!

Larz got me here after a month or so of coaxing (long enough ago that I was still refusing to call him larz). I didn't want to because I knew I would live in only 4 or 5 of ttf's 7 genre groupings. My screen name was born because I was still unconvinced upon finally signing up that I would be accepted here. I think I'm still unconvinced, but fond of you all so can't stay away for long.

Étrangère, at the time lucas hosted #bsd. I think I got invited via a P.M. in bsdforums.org but it was not lucas who sent it, it was probably wintellect. It was so long ago though... my mind could be making this up :P
Anyway, at the time there was no ttf yet and we were invited when lucas created it. I wear my user_id=6 proudly :)
