k, guys, quit making that glossy garbage
No shit. All it takes is 2 weeks in a computer store to figure that one out :)
Too bad they don't don't mention how many people responded and just show "3d" chart instead of mentioning how many percent actually choose which answer.
In addition, I believe it's a good possibility we matte lovers have stronger feelings on the subject than glossy lovers, and are thus more apt to reply to such a questionnaire when encountered in a magazine. In fact, it wasn't even mentioned how these answers were obtained at all.
Again, the results don't surprise me, but this page is worthless. If you want to do research do it properly or don't do it at all. The best use for that page is printing it out and using it as toiletpaper.
I am disappointed in you lucas, that you would dare post this garbage :(
yeah, i fell for their pandering, kinda how most people fall for political garbage statistics
if i had glossy screens on my work computer i would be a total maniac. nothing worse than staring at reflections all day long.
A co worker has two glossy widescreens. I'm sitting ~8 meters from him and can shave if I wanted to.
that's horrific
Well, it's the same coworker who punched a bunch of dials on his telephone (Fixed, not mobile), looked confused, punched more dials, looked even more confused, and then realized it wasn't a calculator.
how frustrating is it calculators and keyboards have a completely different layout than a phone pad?
It's not, because my calculator & keyboard has the same layout.
... And as far as I can see your HP 12c also has the same layout (...?) so now I'm confused.

I think you misread. calculators and keyboard num pads are the same, but phone keypads are flipped.
nestor: very
also, atms match phones, which has affected me on a computer
Oh, right.
Yeah, now you mention it ... I never noticed before though! Strange ...
So how did we get from matte laptop screens to the number layout of phones?

Oh, it's my fault :-(
karma!
