I've been smelling some weird stuff recently...
1. Wet cat food being burned (wafted into my bedroom window from our courtyard)
2. Giant cloud of pot smoke in the middle of an empty street while drive ~40 mph. Lasted two whole breaths!
3. Onion, meat, vinegar...the most sublime scent overwhelms my living room every two weeks or so. I don't know where it is coming from! There are no restaurants nearby enough for the intensity of this smell, and I never smell other food so doubt it is just a neighbor cooking as usual...

Do certain smells remind you of any specific memories?
- Green tea smells like African women to me.
- This really specific ratio of coffee breath + cigarettes always makes me think of Larz
- Coconut lotion reminds me of the Dominican Republic
There was an absolutely *horrible* smell in the corridor of out apartment a few weeks ago. If I went out I took a few breaths and held it until I got down. I thought something died. It was that bad. It was probably the *worst* smell I've ever layed my nose on.
In the end, it turned out some idiot left a trash bag out in the corridor for a few days, and cleaned it up when it started to smell, but by that time it already leaked some delicious fluids all over the place ...
Oh, and #2 is not to unusual in certain parts of the world ... :-)

Ew, sorry about that top part. I deal with that all the time in my own house when my genius (literally and sarcastically) roommate throws shrimp shells in the garbage and lets them stew in the hot, closed apartment all day. fuuuuuu—
Mostly the pot thing was weird because it was such a giant CLOUD of it. In the middle of nowhere! No people around and it was that noticeable even while driving quickly! Some srsly high folk around in the bushes or somethin'.

hahaha
