here's how i got mine back.
1. immediately turn off the camera.
2. remove the secure digital card.
3. move the switch to the lock position.
4. connect the card to your computer.
5. download and run PhotoRec
6. select the drive that represents your media card
7. select a location on your hard disk to save recovered data
8. rejoice
