Here they are ... on Rhodia paper given to me by larz! My handwriting is god-awful with the dip pen, so please excuse that.
These, minus the Boardwalk Blue which was designed by a friend of mine, are part of the mythic/cosmic horror series I've been discussing with another friend, who has also been helping me name them.
Enjoy! :)
That blue is awesome, reminds me of a custom blue by a ink shop here in Toronto. Except yours is better.

Yeah, I'm not usually a fan of blue ink, but that one is pretty awesome. Here's the recipe from the notes:
2.5 parts Iroshizuku
shin-ryoku link
1.5 parts Private Reserve
Tanzanite link
Given the odd-ball half-parts, I think it'd be safe to say that 5:3 is just as good (and possibly easier to measure out).

The brown ink (Atavistic animae ... in-joke) I just made yesterday. I really want to like the Waterman Havannah Brown I have, but it just always seemed lacking. So I made a brown ink that had some nice "rustic" or "antique" qualities to it. Plus the hint of burgundy in it is nice, imho.
15 parts Waterman Havannah Brown
3 parts Waterman Black
2 parts Private Reserve Tanzanite
1 part Iroshizuku shin-ryoku
i just got two bottles of pen ink and a lamy joy 1.1.
how come my ink says "do not mix" ?

Some inks, when mixed with some others, will just react and cause all sorts of nastiness like increasing viscosity greatly or creating particulates in the ink ... both of which jam up pens pretty quickly.
Also, let me know how the Joy is ... I've been interested in them.
the joy is the italic nib lamy, right?
phi_

I think it comes with the italic nib ... but it's a Lamy, so you can swap the nib out with any other Lamy nib. Just need a piece of tape!

Also, which inks did you buy?
see
this.
i think that even the narrowest italic nib (i got the 1.1 mm italic nib) is too extravagant for most uses. it seems absurd.
i love that moon dust ink, though. i also like the lamy joy pen itself. i might buy a second fountain pen so that i can have both inks ready to use and alternate.

Ah, how are the Herbin inks treating you? I really want to buy
this color, but I can't seem to convince myself to do so.
i like them so far, but i honestly haven't used them much, because my only refillable pen has the calligraphy nib, which isn't suitable for most tasks.
ok, i just bought a lamy vista fine nib and a converter so that i can get into this properly. BOOM
also.. who else received rhodia pads from me, besides phi_ and nestor? i'm just curious. i forgot. :)
good call on the vista fine... that pen dominates my use.
phi_

Yeah, the Vista is a powerhorse pen. And easy to clean.

I did. Thank you. :)

the law is no protection
I did too!
I think I'll buy a pen.
lamy safari always a good choice (and super cheap) although the twsbi diamond 540 looks like an overpowered version - mine is in the mail

I'm still jealous you got that.
i think i sent one to etrangere, but she doesn't post here anymore. she still lurks, though.
