i hate how i know exactly what i want to type, and i type it quickly, and i press enter to search. chrome searches something else, because it used autocomplete.
i think it's stupid that i have to use a backspace to search what i typed.
in this case, i tried to use the address bar to search "presidential pens," but it went to "presidential pension."

I hate it too. Almost as much as I hate how it doesn't show "http://" in the address bar but when you copy and paste the address it's there!
Can't you disable these things in the settings?
I guess you can disable "Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar". Couldn't find anything about the "http://" thing though.
i wish i could press a key to use the autocomplete, rather than pressing backspace to not use it.
