I know its ttf, but I feel like its more a shout out to #bsd... whatever.

I'm finishing up my third year right now as a BBA student, I'm doing a finance minor, its one course short of a major, but we don't have a finance major right now, so its a minor...
I got out of the coffee game when I went back to school and have been bouncing around wine shops in my city. I completed some wine certifications, and am currently working on my last of this program called the WSET. The course that I am doing is a prerequisite for another program called the Master of Wine. There are only 300 MW in the world, a number slightly larger than Master Sommelier for any of you who watched SOMM. I actually had to fly out to Vancouver december 30th to write my first exam. I feel like I may have ended my wine career as I may have bombed the exam. I'll know at the end of the month, so until then I'll be in a dark place regarding my future. If I do pass, I plan to do some independent/low budget wine journo/vids. If I don't pass, well, I guess I'm going into corporate finance. I spoke to a friend about it and he said basically I don't have a choice and that I have to be that wine person, so here's hoping I pass.
Other things in no particular order: Cooking via rouxbe/4hour chef (prefer rouxbe/the whole tferriss thing gets overwhelming at times, but a cool read) Just got a violin, tried to learn mandarin, french, and Arabic all at the same time to no real effect. I dropped mandarin pretty quickly, then only recently I reviewed my intentions with arabic and basically wrote on a page "If I cant come up with a reason to be doing this, it must mean something" and then I packed away all of my arabic stuff. Just french atm. I also have begun speculating on the forex market for shits and giggles (just made $34 hooray! lol)
I'm living at university residence. At damn near 30 years old its the most ridiculous thing I've ever done and cant wait till my contract is up. I'm hoping to live in the building where my current job is, but $1750 a month is kinda steep, and hey I might not even have a wine career in 4 months so I'm a hold my breath on that one.
