nothing is wrong - what are you scared of?
i honestly didn't think it'd work, but i finally developed my own 120 film! i got a roll from dp to shoot on my holga. it was pretty tough trying to roll the film onto the larger reel - which i have never done before - and tried desparately to not screw up. i kind of guessed on most of the chemical parts as well, but i did have an old kodak darkroom guide book that tells how long to develop with certain types of film.
the pictures aare pretty transleucent save for a couple of shots. i think only one turned out decently, but the lighting conditions were pretty sketchy.
now.... how to print them!?
that's tight. as first, i thought you meant that you filmed something using 120 film.
You need a special lens on the enlarger to print them. Besides that everything is the same!
You know the reason they're probably translucent is because I forgot to develop that open one :o Maybe I already took that through the camera? I don't remember though for sure. Next try will get you some better results :D

there was no film on the one that was in the opened box.. just the paper backing.. i learned that when i first tried rolling it onto the spool.. there was no way that there was any film on there because it was so flimsey. i dunno how, but i dont think was any actual film on that roll. the transparency is probably just underexposure or something.
overexposure?

larz: It's a negative, translucscence comes from underexposing(or not exposing at all). It will show up as BLACK on the positive print. An overexposure shows up as black on the negative, but white on the positive.
really? i thought overexposure made the positive too dark and the negative too light. guess it has been too long since i've been in a darkroom. :(

Wait, wow, I totally transposed underexposed and overexposed in yours and andyp's posts. You were right. :-/
