We've (the writer and I) compressed many of the events of the story down to the minimum.
Though, keep in mind these two things when reading this script:
1) We can't afford to shoot at as many budgets as there are in this book, so we're putting together as many scenes as we can into single locations.
2) A script isn't like a novel, it won't cover time spent on a line or a scene, just what happens in it. What may be only two lines in the script may end up being five minutes on screen. This will be especially true with this script.

(And, yes, I realize I misspelled Meursault's name. For some reason when I typed everything up Mersault seemed a better spelling. This will be remedied.)
Also, in my first post ... "budgets" should be spelled "locations". That is all.
