does anyone know of any books or literature that talk about the principles of humanistic psychology - specifically the belief that all humans are essentially good - in the context of early human history?

I've been looking on google and amazon but can't seem to find anything, unless it's mentioned in brief in a general humanistic psych book or something.

cool. I asked my professor today while we were talking about humanistic psych and she didn't really answer my question, just kind of elaborated on the concept of essential good in humans. I might just browse through some old, founding humanistic stuff and see if there's any mention.
