What form do you guys like to write best in? Rhymes, no rhymes? Hidden meanings or upfront?

I personally like to rhyme poems with the
A
A

B
B

C
C
standard. As far as hidden meanings, I like them on occasion, but am usually up front.

cool.

And about the poetry. Thats why I asked because we all know poetry doesnt necessarily have to rhyme. Just trying to figure out some ways to expand beyond the usual.

... and let the Earth be silent after ye.
I don't like rhyming poetry. It usually just seems forced. Of course, I've only written a single poem.

Pink
the camera
heavy
laughing
unsure
makeup table
applies the perfume
pose on her puce
ecstasy and
passageway. Then she's lying
Rashimov hounds
The camera pans
Clara bows.

nothing is wrong - what are you scared of?
anything i write seems to be forced. I try to be artistic with it, but it ends up feeling cliche.

Yeah, I understand about the forced issue. Just gotta find a source of inspiration and write only when you feel its needed.

I've felt some of my writing to be a bit cliched at times, but you know how I fixed that? I tossed the story and started writing again.

lol phi thats usually what I do. If I write something look back and read and am like wtf was that, time to just toss it and start over.
