Drunk by Myself
Someone REALLY needs to make a website with specific instructions on certain math subjects. I'm trying to find out something that's not really specified in my book and this is just...absurd. Lol. Does anyone know any sites?

My dilemma is this. I'm trying to find the area of a point on a normal distribution curve. Thing is, the book will give one point as being in a tail, and another point as being slightly to the right of the mean. It really is problem specific regarding the answer you'll get, since there are 6 different methods to use. Not too terribly difficult, but I just figured it out. Anyone interested in running a site like that? I am aware that there are plenty of college algebra related sites. I haven't seen one for Finite, nor statistics.

at least it always helped us with partial diffeqs :x

the area under a point of a curve is zero. if you mean the area between two points on a curve, you'll want to use something like the z-value, iirc. subtract the smaller from the larger. does that help? if not, can you explain more? or can you just put the problem up here?

sparknotes.com has some pretty good math stuff. my mom was using it to help her study for the MA teacher's assessment test.
