Drunk by Myself
So what are you guys typically coding more for these days? Web Programming seems to be the next major movement as every service imaginable is going towards an internet based medium. Also what languages are you guys learning/mastering? On both a platform and web medium.
i'm learning R right now (http://www.r-project.org/)
i'm also into php/mysql, although i need to learn php oo (php5) and a framework (like cakephp).
i also want to learn more javascript, so i can use mootools or scriptaculous with more skill.
i'm in an obsessive shell scripting mode right now, although i'd like to learn c and ++.
now that i think about it, i'm not sure if shell scripting even counts as "coding"...
nah, it does.

most folks say scripting vs coding. but perl blurs the line since most hardcore perl people code backends to modules in c.
well we don't have badass enough circles here to have the luxury of distinguishing between scripters and coders.

If you want I can start handing out little star badges for the scripters and putting them into uhm... concentration forums.
:o

but at least i get a badge
