I was at the library and it turns out I was scheduled to monitor an event. The KFA was presenting and selling some of their books in a meeting so I took a look at their flyer. It looks pretty interesting and I think I'm gonna see what they're all about. The philosophy is centered around boundless self-learning. It has roots in eastern philosophy and is generally against systems of sectarian thinking. It's an individualistic philosophy from what I gathered from listening for a few minutes. They have a study retreat and library near santa barbara that I might check out while I'm checking out UCSB and SJSU.
Krishnamurti was a modern philosopher of Indian descent and has foundations in the US, India, UK, and Latin America.
