I don't really use my desk anymore. it's just there if I want to play a video game that uses the mouse or I need to print something. otherwise, this is where I work/browse the web/do whatever else.
man, that would be extremely unproductive for me.
that's why I like to go to my school's library to do work :).

I've done development, security auditing (boring except for infrastructure audits), and my systems administration in the past.
NYC has some interesting things going for it. Great pay for one... but largely because no one can afford anything in the city =P
