i'm totally going to format the box this weekend. i don't know how it got so bad. sometimes it won't ever shut down (stays on "windows is shutting down..." forever), sometimes it won't start up. for a while, it would BSOD every boot until i disabled a bunch of stuff in the bios. but it still does it sometimes. and, of course, it hangs on resume (both hdd and ram).

no, i've done a few clean installs since i got this guy. my last install was just a couple months ago and it's still very clean and nice. somehow it's so fucked up
Yea Windows has a way of doing that. Windows didn't like my inkjet. I need to get a laser printer and just install Gentoo. I'm sorry but I need latest X11.
