It does look like that, but I can't for the life of me, think of why that might be.

huh, after re-uploading there now seems to be the same amount of space above and below it. before, as in the image I posted, there was more space below than above. there's still more space around my avatar than others, though.
It doesn't look as drastic as before but now I can tell there is a few pix. more on the bottom as there is on the top.
