p.s. i have never attended cs 150. technically, if you take easy classes, you could add a class when you have another class.

so pretty much every time you had a class you had another class? how were you even able to register that schedule, it would seem that teachers and shit would get upset with the constant absense.

i mean if there's a class that has like 200 people, and you wouldn't attend anyway (something like cs 150), and the teacher wouldn't notice your absence.

i have class MW 9:00-10:20 econ & 4:00pm-6:50pm photo & M 7:00-9:50 phil

dropped my MW 7:30-8:50 polysci. finished a bunch of 1 unit classes: backpacking, fixed income securities, stock options, and investment & retirement planning.

i don't have all that much to worry about now. hope i get the job at the library though, will reduce my hours by about 5 a week, while giving me a higher pay and a couple benefits. i'll be making $30 more a week for 5 less hours of work. all this with the benefit of meeting peers my age.

phi: what is fren 1412? and what school is this?

db: ttf supports text. otherwise, try pastebin.com.

dp: what are you doing next semester? also, when are you gonna apply to schools?

here's my tentative plan for the spring:
math 362 - advanced calculus II (3 cr.)
econ 300 - problem solving seminar (1 cr.)
econ 302 - intermediate macroeconomics (3 cr.)
econ 309 - managerial economics (3 cr.)
econ 313 - money and banking (3 cr.)
phil 352 - metaphysics (3 cr.)
phil 400 - seminar (3 cr.)

hopefully i'll be able to add a hip hop dance class.

lucas: FREN1412 ... Beginning French II. It's a local college nearby where I'm getting rid of core/required classes before transferring to UT, all while trying to save up money for UT.

i'm taking a science with a lab, probably astronomy and astro lab. if the teacher i want isn't there this spring semester i'm taking anthropology and anthro lab.

schedules for the spring came out this last week. i've sorted through the ones i need but haven't chosen either to schedule on tues & thurs or mon & wed.

ones that would work subject to availability:
phil: asian religions, algebra, history of modern phil, womens studies, speech, art history, intermediate photo, polysci, phil: ethics.

on the side i'm taking backpacking again, weight lifting (..or yoga), and the zen of camping.

i am 3 class moves away from an AA in economics, and 4 away for philosophy. business has the most moves at 8 classes remaining. i am 5 moves away for transfer.

as for applying for colleges, i have been heavily considering transferring to a UC school instead of CSU. i'm going to talk to a counselor to check out my options on monday about the UC thing, and see how applying for CSU works.

for us to take net. sec. they require we finish ccna first ... which I have, I just noticed they must not make you do it like that at MSU-B.

they do require it but i'm a "special case" because i've done ccna once... i'm just not doing net. sec. because i don't want to get special treatment anymore. also i don't want to miss out on core classes for an elective.

i found out that econ 309 is very ag orientated. oh, and i'm also getting together a group of math people to take hip hop dance!

guess what! i'm not longer a mathematics major. i decided to go for the minor instead (which i have already completed).

so i dropped math 362 and just added phil 360 -- existentialism. i couldn't take it before because of the time conflict.

this also means that during my last two semesters, i'll only have to take 14 credits.

it's weird because math was my first major, but i'm sure i'll get used to it. 23 credits this semester, going to europe this summer to celebrate, then a normal load of 14 credits this fall. ahhhhhh

the law is no protection
no classes before 1:00 PM, and no classes on Friday :). considering I registered about a week before classes started, I did pretty well!

now I just have to get myself through these generic courses like English Literature, Economics, and Art Lit. & Music :/.
