and what's new in the world of jk?
working in el segundo this summer. i think it is equally far from you as pasadena, but i don't know. we should hang out this summer. we should hang out more. i realize this is my fault.
i am sick of math, as i am realizing that i will go far with more practical Mech. E. skills.
i have become a born-again socialist lately. while i understand the power of markets in regard to productivity, i realize that government is necessary to ensure that the average person can be happy with a minimal amount of work.
i have been focusing less on school and more on life in general. i am running a lot, and trying to talk to people around me more.

I just realized that I'm burnt out at work, so I quit one of my jobs. I got a new camera so I'm going to try to get out more. I still want to generate income so I think I'll get another job and work a few hours a week after my business writing class is out [starbucks?]. I haven't really been social either except with some of my coworkers at the library - a mixed bag of entertainment and unsober party activites.
What I'd really like is my own place, hopefully that'll be around the corner in the spring. That way I can cook for some peoples and we can have entertaining parties with good food and drinks instead of shitfaced bar parties (just been to my share of these as of late).
I'm definitely down. I would have said no probably earlier though so it's not your fault, I'm extremely occupied by mundane responsibilities. I'm freeing myself from those to explore options.
Yesterday I went to the beach with my parents, laguna. It was great, really relaxing and I just spent about an hour photographing crabs and sea slugs while barefoot. Probably one of the most satisfying things I've done in months.
Oh we just pickled some cucumber. I guess you'd call it our home style. I'll see if we have extra and I'll try to get it to ya. It's made with ginger, peppers vinegar and some other crap. Home grown cucumber too! All in all we should do some stuff this summer. I still might go to Belize this summer with my family, who knows. My dad brought it up that he wants to go before leaving for Germany, in which case I would probably go to Belize AND Germany. I don't even know if I can express how much I'd be lovin' that [if affordable of course].
