if you use the lenovo thinkpad bluetooth software (which is about a 75mb installer), it will create a "Bluetooth Exchange Folder" in "My Documents" every time you log in.
to change this:
open the control panel, then "bluetooth configuration." select the "local services" tab. select "file transfer" and click the "properties" button. choose a new path.
took me a while to find that.
now i just need to convince adobe programs to stay the hell out of "my documents" with the "updater" folder.

Have you tried FoxIt Reader for PDFs? It's one of the first programs I put on XP.
