note: I like the idea of resetting before shooting, I had my WB set from a previous day once and it really screwed up my photos for the day, I didn't realize until looking at the photos closely in lightroom.
great thread, i'm guessing a lot of these things will also apply to d40. i'm going to read this over the weekend!
