Icarus gets used every day. My screen has almost been permanently attached to Icarus since I bought it. I find it a nuisance unplugging the screen, disabling extended desktop, and reconnecting later. Reconnecting takes a little bit of trickery as the resolution options don't present themselves for widescreen for a few refreshes of the menu. I just want to be able to plug the cord in and hit the power and maybe a button to make the screen go extended on Icarus. My monitor is living up to it's value.

Domke f-802 bag. I go out often to school, or school related activities. This bag is a laptop satchel but I really haven't been taking Icarus around since I haven't had a whole lot of spare time to go places with my laptop. The bag though, is ready for big text books, like the one for my class business communication. It's heavy duty and it also really works well for me. I fit half of my research books for my paper in the bag, approximately 9 decent size text books. It was a bit bulging by then with my main textbook in it as well but it really holds its own. I like it a lot more than my backpack actually.

D80 so far I have taken pictures on just about every outing for a non-school/work related activity. Most of the shots are exercises in getting proper exposures in manual mode. I don't post too much now because I'm about to put up a photoblog. I really have to work hard to make this camera worth the money to me. I'm going to start posting photo assignment style things to practice on in that photo assignment thread.

Not frequent:

I'm getting rid of the things I don't use regularly. I just sold my ipod and I got rid of my old monitor. Next up is to ditch my old casemod project. I wouldn't mind working on it still but it's not practical in my situation because I really don't want that many fans in a case running in my little room. I would definitely keep it if I were in bmt to run in the garage.

I finally just got rid of all my magazines that I've been meaning to donate!

... and let the Earth be silent after ye.
I'm reworking things in my life. Unnecessary things get thrown out, necessary things get pared down. I'm giving away my two servers (slow, but good enough), monitor, and keeping my laptop. Serves its purpose.

I use my iPod daily, but other than that, I don't really use any other tech than some TV as background noise while I work. *shrug*

I know I was all caught up on making my information untraceable (I cut every addressed area out of every magazine). It was stuck in a corner for a while so I really forgot about it. After that I was going to donate it, but one time I was going to put it in my car and I messed up the order of the stacks so I wanted to fix that to be nice to the people going through the donations. I ended up tossing all of them in the recycle bin.

the law is no protection
I've done a pretty good job of cutting down on unnecessary possessions. I'd like to get rid of some clothes I have that I never wear, but there aren't too many.

the worst thing for me is having a lot of furniture. I have a big chair, ottoman, desk, desk chair, dresser, bookcase, bed, kitchen table, two kitchen chairs, a two-piece couch, and a coffee table. I'm not looking forward to moving in a year or two!

If you come up with a way to do that let me know asap :)

I will take any extra dreamcast games you want to get rid of!
