Don't Let Your Walls Down
i am hoping not! i wont post the spoiler on here that ive posted everywere else i could but i really have an urge to go by walmart and ever other place that sells the book and shout the ending to everyone in line waiting to read it. it just drives me nuts at the lengths that people will go to not have it ruined for them. i mean if knowing the ending to the book spoils it then its not worth reading.
do it and videotape it
wow.

... and let the Earth be silent after ye.
I fully support this endeavor.
I want to hear the spoilers!

Don't Let Your Walls Down
fans seem pretty suprised by this spoiler, snape gets killed by voldemort. ron gets killed by some beatrix chick. hermoine is really in love with harry but he doesn't feel the same way. and harry ultimately kills voldemort with some magic ball behind some locked door in the 6th book. the ball of magic is supposed to be the greatest love of all or some bs like that.
i'll probably read it. hey, it's like the biggest (literary) phenomenon of our time. i don't really like the plot but as a scifi/fantasy fan i find the universe intriguing.

Don't Let Your Walls Down
oh i fully realize its the biggest phenomenon of our time but people taking days off work, shutting their cell phones off, not turning on a T.V, or surfing the internet just to make it through without having it spoiled seems a bit extreme
no kidding, that is hella extreme.\
i got spoiled on the last one and i didn't mind. but hey, if people are so attached to the plot i would hate to destroy so much utility in one fell swoop because i disagreed with their interests.
i think chiken gets a lot of utility out of doing so
i'll leave him to make the calculations. however those diehards might be packing heat... beware

Don't Let Your Walls Down
packing heat? you mean those twigs they call wands?
Bachalon
That hurt more than I would have expected.
I hate to be a bastard, but what's your source for this information? As far as I know, not a single advance copy has been sent out to reviewers.
That being said, I'd love to spoil it for everyone.
>taking days off work, shutting their cell phones off, not turning on a T.V, or surfing the internet
ok, taking time off work aside, are the rest of these so bad?
you'll be spoiling it for these people, but for what reason? maybe i misunderstood the post but i don't get your aggression towards them.
Chiken
Don't Let Your Walls Down
its not really an aggression, its more the joy i get from seeing their reactions when important info is spoiled for them. they take it like its the end of the world.

On the opening night for the third film I went..fell asleep after 20 minutes. I went to rawling's website too, it's pretty annoying.
Then again I haven't read the books so I'll keep my opinion to myself :)
LITERARY PHENOMENON? Maybe?
> LITERARY PHENOMENON? Maybe?
phenomenon: something that is impressive or extraordinary.
hey, i'm not endorsing the books, i'm just saying they are hella popular literature.

Don't Let Your Walls Down
yeah, people are getting banned from forums all over the net for posting the leaked book and one is even going to the extreme of contacting scholastic and turning them in. even the guy who leaked it fucked up taking the pictures and forgot to take the time stamp and other shit off.

That hurt more than I would have expected.
I'd heard rumors about that.
I'm not quite sure how I feel about them being confirmed. As far as the books go, I've read the first three. I haven't been able to finish the others. I'm honestly baffled as to why they're so goddamned popular.
